My Family Doctor is an initiative by Indian Health and Medical Council to provide economical medical services to the daily needs of the public.
My family doctor app provides you with a physician for your everyday medical requirements such as mild fever, cold, pain, hair-fall, blood pressure, digestion, diarrhea, and other non-emergency situations. You may consult either MBBS, ayurvedic, or a homeopathic doctor.
The cost of a consultation is as low as Rs. 150 per month for the subscribers and mostly less than Rs. 200 for one-time appointments.
- One-time appointment is currently costing Rs. 220/- with the relevant coupon, you could get it for less than Rs. 200/-
- There are various subscription options; in some cases, the consultation is as low as Rs. 150/- per month for the subscribers
- It can be used anytime from anywhere once you are registered.
- It can be used for the doctor consultation for any illness that can be described over a telephonic/video call.
- People can download and register for an account on the My Family Doc App, your name and contact information is collected.
- Search a timeslot and book an appointment with a doctor, you may be required to share your medical condition and illness.
- An Appointment is booked with the doctor and added to the patient calendar and a google meet link is generated.
- Patients then have a consultation session with a doctor over a video conference e.g. google meet.
- After the consultation session, the doctor provide an appropriate prescription.
- In case of emergency, please visit the appropriate hospital.
- When an illness cannot be diagnosed based on the symptoms, you may need to visit the doctor in person.
